He holds a degree in Agronomy (2007) from the State University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UEMS), a Master (2010) and a Doctorate (2013) from the Faculty of Agronomic Sciences (FCA) of the Paulista State University (UNESP), Botucatu campus.

He completed his post-doctoral degree between June and December 2013 in the Department of Plant Production and Improvement of FCA/UNESP. He entered as Researcher IV at the Centre for Tropical Roots and Starches (CERAT) - Botucatu (SP), Paulista State University (UNESP) in December 2013.

He was Executive Coordinator of Complementary Unit at the Central Chamber of University Extension and Culture (CCEC) of UNESP in the period from August 2017 to September 2019. He served as Executive Coordinator of the Tropical Roots and Starch Centre (CERAT) from December 2015 to December 2019. He is a representative of UNESP to the Sectoral Chamber of the Mandioca and Derivados Production Chain in Brasília.

He is Vice Coordinator of the Graduate Programme in Agronomy - Agriculture of FCA/UNESP. Currently he is a researcher III of CERAT, working in the field of Phytotechnics: Tuberosas Production Systems. He carries out research with the crops of mandioca, potato, sweet potato and mandioquinha-salsa. His research focuses on the following areas: plant engineering, handling and cultivation treatments, use of plant regulators, plant nutrition and fertilization management.
