Teacher Carlos Alexandre Costa Crusciol

He holds a degree in Agronomy (1992) from the Faculty of Engineering of the Paulista State University (UNESP) of Ilha Solteira.

Master (1995) and Doctorate (1998) in Agronomy (Agriculture), and Freelance (2001) from the Faculty of Agronomic Sciences of the UNESP of Botucatu (FCA/UNESP), as well as Post-Doctorate from the University of Florida (2011/2012).

He was Director of the Foundation for Agricultural and Forestry Studies and Research (FEPAF). He was for two occasions Coordinator of the Postgraduate Programme (FCA/UNESP) in Agronomy-Agriculture (Triennium: 2007-2009 and Quadrenium: 2013-2016) and Head of the Department of Production and Vegetal Improvement (Triennium: 2017-2019).

He has already guided 26 students at the master's level and 30 at the doctoral level. He has been a Research Fellow for Productivity at CNPq since 2000.

He is currently Professor Titular (since 2010) at FCA/UNESP of Botucatu, Member of the Editorial Board of the European Journal of Agronomy and Member of Integrated Crop-Livestock Systems Network of the GRA Croplands Research Group (USDA/USA).

He has experience in the area of Agriculture, with emphasis on agricultural production systems, soil fertility management, plant nutrition and applied plant physiology, acting on annual grain crops and sugarcane culture.
